Understanding the EB-5 investor pathway
USCIS administers the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. Eligible investors and certain family members may apply for lawful permanent residence through a qualifying investment in a U.S. commercial enterprise that meets the program’s capital and job-creation requirements.
A residence purchase and an immigration investment
Purchasing a condominium for personal use does not by itself establish eligibility for an EB-5 visa. Any EB-5 offering must be evaluated separately, including its investment structure, source-of-funds evidence, job creation, risks and immigration requirements. No project in this collection is represented here as an approved EB-5 investment.
Plan with qualified advisers
Consult an independent U.S. immigration attorney before committing funds. Investment returns, capital repayment, visa availability and immigration approval are not guaranteed. Our real estate team can coordinate your property search alongside your independent advisers.
